The Richmond/Rosenberg American Cancer Society Relay For Life will be held from 6 p.m. May 5 to 7 a.m. May 6 at Richmond’s George Park, at 2155 Collins Road.

The Relay For Life is a community gathering and fund raising event where everyone can participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people will camp out and take turns walking or running around the track at George Park. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event, to symbolize that cancer never sleeps.

When the sun goes down, undreds of luminaria will light the way, to remember those lost to cancer, those fighting cancer and those who have fought cancer and won.
