Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force agents have arrested a Wharton man for allegedly selling marijuana at the Richmond State School, at 2100 Preston St. in Richmond.
According to a county sheriff’s report, agents put Carl Leon Earls under surveillance, in an investigation conducted with the assistance of the director of security at the state school.
The investigation culminated in two sealed grand jury indictments on identical counts of delivery of marijuana.
Earls, who worked in the maintenance department at the school, was arrested at the school and jailed at the Fort Bend County Jail on a total bond of $50,000. According to sheriff’s reports, narcotics agents also seized his car.
