Jay Neal is a professor at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston. Prior to teaching, he worked as a dining room manager at Gaido’s Restaurant in Galveston, sous chef at Samuel T’s Restaurant in Chicago and spent almost 10 years as a general manager with Becks Prime Restaurants in Houston.
