A woman was robbed of her purse Saturday afternoon at Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, Sugar Land Police said in a report on Monday.
Police were called to the hospital, in the 16600 block of the Southwest Freeway, at 1:35 p.m. Saturday after the robbery.
According to the police report, an unidentified woman was sitting in a vehicle in the hospital’s parking lot when a man walked up, opened the vehicle’s door and pulled the woman’s purse from her shoulder. He then took the purse and ran to a waiting light-colored SUV occupied by two other suspects.
The man who took the purse is described as a block man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing more than 200 pounds and wearing a blue and white-striped polo shirt and shorts.
No description was available of the other suspects.
