Northbound U.S. 59 Lanes To Close At Grand Parkway Sunday & Monday

U.S. 59′s main northbound lanes will be closed during parts of Sunday and Monday near the highway’s intersection with the Grand Parkway.

The Texas Department of Transportation is planning to close those lanes from 3 a.m. until noon on Sunday, and from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. on Monday, according to information from the City of Sugar Land.

Motorists traveling on those northbound lanes will be detoured onto the frontage road at the Crabb River Road exit ramp, and will travel on the frontage road until the next available entrance ramp.

Motorists are asked to exercise patience and expect some traffic delays.
