Rosenberg Narcotics Officers Bust 4 In Separate Drug Cases

Officers from the Rosenberg Police Department’s narcotics squad arrested four people on drug charges Wednesday in two separate cases, according to a police report.

Arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance were Eric Mireles and Laura Charles, according to the report. Michael Robles was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance. The three arrests came after officers searched a house in the 2100 block of Avenue J in Rosenberg.

A police spokeswoman said crack cocaine was discovered during the search. The arrests were the result of a three-month investigation, the department said.

Narcotics officers also arrested Emmanuel Gonzalez, no address listed, for delivery of a controlled substance, which a police spokeswoman identified as powdered cocaine. The department said Gonzalez’s arrest capped a month-long investigation.

The department said more charges and arrests

In both cases more charges and the arrest of additional suspects are expected, police said.
