Three armed men forced their way into a New Territory house Thursday morning and held three women at gunpoint while ransacking and robbing the residence.
According to a Fort Bend County Sheriff’s report, deputies received a call that a home invasion had taken place at about 9 a.m., in the 1200 block of Woodley Bend.
The women told sheriff’s investigators three Hispanic men forced their way into the home through the front door, then forced two of the three women to sit on a sofa while the third woman was led to the master bedroom and ordered “to hand over the money.”
“The victim retrieved a plastic bag and began to fill it with anything of value,” the sheriff’s report said. “The other two suspects were taking items and placing them in a suitcase.”
The robbers then forced the three women into a bedroom and warned them not to leave the room or call the police, according to the sheriff’s report. The men fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, electronic equipment and jewelry.
