Missouri City Police Officer Donna Quackenbush has been honored by the Gulf Coast Exchange Club as an Officer of the Year.
“She was selected not because of any specific heroic deed, but moreover because of her professionalism, leadership, and her dedication to the overall betterment of her fellow officers and department,” said Missouri City Police Chief Ron Echols.
Quackenbush joined the Missouri City Police Department in November 2004, having served as a police officer in Tempe, Arizona. In Missouri City she serves as a patrol officer on the evening shift, a field training officer, a recruiting officer, a background investigator, a member of the Honor Guard, and a hostage negotiator
