Out-of-school Fort Bend Independent School District examinees who have not met minimum expectations on all sections of the exit-level TAKS or TAAS tests may retake the necessary sections in October.
To make sure test results are mailed to their homes, examinees are asked to pre-register for the tests. Students may register by contacting the FBISD Testing Department at 281-634-1306 or 281-634-1313 for assistance. Or, students may also register themselves at the following online sites, through September 14, 2007:

Test dates are Oct. 16 – Oct 19. The subjects for TAKS will be administered one subject per day in the following order: English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies (Oct. 16 – 19). TAAS subjects are also administered one per day in the following order: Writing, Mathematics, Reading (Oct. 16 – 18).
A picture ID is required for anyone who wishes to take the test, and must be presented upon arrival.
