U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul, the Republican congressman from the 10th district, will be guest speaker at the Katy Area Republican Club’s Aug. 28 meeting, at 7 p.m. at the Cinco Ranch library.

Serving his second term, McCaul is a ranking member of the Homeland Security Committee and on the subcommittee on Emerging Threats, Cyber Security and Scirence and Technology.
