Sugar Land police investigated a robbery at a business in the 1800 block of Austin Parkway on Monday.
Details of the incident weren’t immediately available Tuesday morning, but a spokeswoman for the Sugar Land Police Department said more information would be made available later in the day.
Police also were called to five reported shoplifting incidents on Monday, two at First Colony Mall and one each in the 9900 block of U.S. 90A; the 3300 block of State Highway 6; and the 100 block of Parklane Boulevard.
Also, police investigated an assault, reported from the 3400 block of Hillstone Drive.
