Sheriff’s Deputies Investigate Rash Of Burglaries, Thefts

Fort Bend County sheriff’s deputies were kept busy Monday with a dozen reported burglaries, 11 theft incidents and seven reports of fraud.

Deputies also investigated an assault, reported at 4:32 in the 1550 block of the Grand Parkway southbound, near Katy.

Burglaries were reported at:

- a home in the 2400 block of Katy Flewellen Road;

- a building in the 18100 block of Surrey Lake Lane;

- a home in the 8800 block of Chelsworth Drive;

- a home in the 2100 block of Walnut Grove Lane;

- a home in the 3000 block of Dove Country Drive;

- a building in the 17200 block of Astrachan Drive;

- a home in the 10300 block of Gulfstream Lane;

- a home in the 1500 block of Hunter Green Lane;

- a home in the 2400 block of Fallen Branch Drive;

- a home in the 23700 block of Indian Hills Way;

- a home in the 9000 block of Lavender Field;

- and a home in the 6600 block of Forest Mill Lane.
