Three Needville Men Busted In Matagorda Liquor Store Burglaries

Three Needville men have been arrested and charged in two liquor store burglaries in Matagorda County.

The arrests came after a two-month investigation by the Matagorda County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Texas Rangers, according to the Bay City Tribune.

Arrested were Nelsin White, 22; Dennis Rivers, 22; and Ryan Walker, 23, all of Needville. Charges against the three include engaging in organizaed criminal activity, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and burglary of a building.

The three men are accused of burglarizing J&J’s Liquore Store in rural Matagorda County, and Wood’s Liquore Store in Wadsworth. Both break-ins occurred Nov. 16, 2008.

According to the Tribune, White and Rivers are being held in Matagorda COunty Jail, while Rivers is in Fort Bend County Jail in Richmond.
