Library patrons can take a virtual tour of Ireland as Fort Bend County Libraries’ First Colony Branch features an exhibit of books, videos and CDs about Ireland and its culture.
The exhibit will be on display throughout the month of March in recognition of St. Patrick’s Day.
Patrons can learn about the myths, legends and folklore of the Emerald Isles, as well as explore Ireland’s history of saints, rebels and high kings.
Videos, DVDs, and CDs bring the music and beauty of Ireland to life. Virtual travelers or trip planners may also want to check out some of the books on travel tips or vacationing on a budget.
The exhibit may be viewed during regular library hours.
