He and his wife have been home schooling their children for one year (after the last bond referendum). He has a real respect for teaching and teachers, which is why he seems to have the strong support of teachers in Fort Bend. He will continue to support education in FBISD as a trustee. Mr. Cain will not confuse support for education with forced projects for paying back vendor campaign contributions. I know Mr. Cain. They will bring some relief to taxpayers who have been expected to unquestioningly support projects that have industry vendors more in mind that the education of our young people. I urge everyone who has voted in favor of a voter/teacher/student friendly board in the past to keep the faith. When you have to replace a whole board that has gone off track it takes years. We can only hope that this election cycle will shift our board away from vendor/developer motivated group to one that will bring common sense back to the forefront of decision and policy making process.
