Mad Hatter Spring Luncheon & Fashion Show To Benefit Meals On Wheels

Tickets are now on sale for the Second Annual Mad Hatter Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon benefiting Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels.

 

The luncheon will be held May 8 at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Local celebrity models will take the runway in spring fashions provided by Draper’s & Damon’s. This year’s models are Annette Bain, Sonal Bhuchar, Jacquie Chaumette, Karen Chitty-Boe, Linda Hancock, Mazie Leftwich, Rebecca Marcucci, Nancy Olson, Sharon Rowe, Lori Shirley, Cheryl Stalinski, Evelyn Traylor, Claudia Vasquez and KK West. Additionally, two special models – Cameron and Bailey Freed – will be modeling the fashions of Pinkie & Black.

 

The fashion show and luncheon is being presented by The Vacek Law Firm and Equity Development Corporation. Deborah Duncan of Good Day Houston will be keynote speaker.

 

The Sugar Land Marriott Ballroom will be transformed into a design and floral extravaganza with local interior designers and florists decorating tables in their “Theme of Choice”.

 

Designers already committed to the event include Linens by Lisa/Sugar Land Antiques, Maison Maison Antiques, The Design Source, Brittany Blake Interiors, Inside Rise Rich Magazine, Sarah’s Flowers, Greenscapes Unlimited, HCR Manorcare, Elima Designs, Inc., LC Floral Designs, Flowers by Tiffany, Bouquet Flowers, Penny Hayes, Joan Murray and Silverado Senior Living.

 

The Mad Hatter Fashion Show and Luncheon is one of Fort Bend Seniors’ annual fundraising events.  All funds raised go toward supporting the mission and programs which enhance the quality of life for Fort Bend County Senior Citizens. 

 

The average “Meals on Wheels” participant is 78 years old and lives alone.  Fort Bend Seniors not only provides daily nutrition, but for many seniors, it is the only social interaction they enjoy.
