Detectives Seek Public’s Help Identifying Robbery Suspects

Fort Bend County Sheriff’s detectives are asking the public for help identifying two suspects in an armed robbery at Fresno’s Crossroads Market.

The market, at 1439 Trammel Fresno Road, was robbed at about 9:40 p.m. April 23 when two men armed with handguns entered the store and demanded money.

One man stood guard near the front door while a second robber went behind the store counter with a clerk and ordered him to empty the cash registers, according to a statement released Thursday for the county Sheriff’s Office.

The robbers also grabbed two cartons of cigarettes, then both ran out.

They were described as wearing masks, dark hooded jackets, baseball caps and gloves.

Anyone with information about the suspects or the robbery is asked to call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers, which accepts anonymous calls at 281-342-8477.
