Men Leaving Sugar Land Party Robbed At Gunpoint

Two men told Sugar Land police they were robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night near the intersection of Elkins Road and Sweetwater Boulevard.

The victims, whom police didn’t identify, reported the robbery on Wednesday afternoon. They told police they were leaving a party at a Creekstone Drive residence Tuesday at about 10:30 p.m. when the robbery occurred.

A man “pointed a pistol at them, took their wallets and cell phones and ran away,” Sugar Land Police Department spokesman Doug Adolph said.

The suspect is described as a black man standing 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall, who speaks with “a Spanish accent.” Police said he was wearing a black hooded sweater, black jeans, black shoes and a black bandanna covering his face.
