George Memorial Library To Offer Introductory Computer Classes

Fort Bend County Libraries’ adult services staff at George Memorial Library in Richmond will present a series of free, introductory computer classes during the month of June.

 

The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills for people who would like to learn more about using these computer programs.

 

The “Mouse Practice for Scaredy Cats” class will take place on Thursday, June 4; the “Computers 101” class will be held on Tuesday, June 9 and the “MS Word Survival Basics” class for version 2007 is scheduled for Thursday, June 11.

 

Additionally, the “MS PowerPoint Survival Basics” class for version 2007 will be held on Wednesday, June 17; the “Hands-On Internet” class will take place on Tuesday, June 23 and the “How to Set Up a Free Email Account on the Internet” class will be offered on Wednesday, June 24.

 

All classes will begin at 10 a.m. in the library’s computer lab.

 

The classes are free and open to the public; however, seating is limited and reservations are required.
