LCISD Educational Secretaries Association Earns Two State Awards

The Lamar Consolidated Educational Secretaries Association received two awards at the Texas Educational Support Staff Association summer conference held recently in Austin.

The association finished second in the outstanding membership increase category. The group’s newsletter, edited by Mona Nino, took third place honors.

 

Kim Alderman, Julie Chapa, Marie Enax, Donna French, Jennifer Hajovsky, Sue Hand, Katherine Kampwerth, Betsy Krevosky, Becky Melendez, Mona Nino and Rhonda Vela represented the school district at the conference.

 

Hand was the conference chairwoman and is the parliamentarian and legislative consultant for the state organization.

 

LCISD Superintendent Dr. Thomas Randle and Transportation Director Jim Stegmiller also attended the conference and are members of the TESA Advisory Board.
