NEW ON THE BEAT - Tayce, a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois, has joined Rosenberg Police Department. Working with partner Officer David Mirelez, the dog will be used for drug detection, searches, criminal apprehension and tracking. The breed has been used in Europe for police work for more than 150 years.
