Sugar Land-based Founders Bank has named Kerry W. Jarka its senior vice president of consumer lending.
Jarka is responsible for managing and growing the bank’s portfolio of auto, boat, home improvement and general consumer loans.
“Kerry has a proven history of success in consumer lending,” said Founders Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Sturgeon. “He has extensive experience in designing and implementing programs and processes that both increase lending while maintaining excellent credit quality. We’re excited to have him join the Founders Bank team to enhance our outreach to individuals.”
A Texas Lutheran University graduate, Jarka was most recently first vice president of consumer lending for BBVA-Compass Bank.
He and his wife Sandy, a teacher and coach at Fort Bend Independent School District, are Sugar Land residents. They have two sons, Shane and Korey.
