Marriott International Inc. officially opened a 118-suite SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel on Wednesday adjacent to Rosenberg’s Brazos Town Center.
Located just north of U.S. 59 at 6815 Reading Road, the SpringHill Suites operates as a Marriott Franchise, owned and managed by Sun Development and Management Corp.
“We’re delighted to join the Rosenberg community,” said SpringHill Suites General manager Danyell Taylor.
Suites at the new hotel are “up to 25% larger than traditional hotel rooms,” Marriott says. They feature separate areas for sleeping, eating and working.
All rooms are non-smoking, and include free high-speed wireless Internet access, a mini-refridgerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and “luxury bedding.”
The SpringHill Suites offers a complimentary breakfast buffet, an “express grab-and-go” food service, a business center, same-day dry cleaning and guest laundry facilities. There’s also a heated outdoor swimming pool and exercise room.
Marriott’s SpringHill Suites brand, launched in 1998, has more than 200 locations in the United States and Canada, the company said.
