A man was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon in a parking lot at Sugar Creek Baptist Church, according to a Sugar Land Police Department report.
Details were still sketchy Thursday morning. The victim, who spoke only Spanish, told police he was in the parking lot, at 13333 Southwest Freeway North in Sugar Land, between 1:30 and 2 p.m. when two men approached him. One displayed a gun, and they robbed him of his wallet and an unspecified amount of cash.
The victim was uninjured in the robbery.
