Break-up Drives Woman To Punch Missouri City Boyfriend In The Face With Brass Knuckles

An Humble woman, apparently upset over a recent break-up with her Missouri City boyfriend, drove to his home, put on a pair of brass knuckles and punched him in the face, police said.

Natalee Stewart, 23, was arrested by Missouri City police at about 7:15 a.m. Thursday, and charged with aggravated assault.

Missouri City Police Capt. John Bailey said police were called to her ex-boyfriend’s residence, in the 3000 block of Eagle Court, and found the 24-year-old man bleeding from his right nostril. He told an officer he’d been hit.

Stewart handed a pair of brass knuckles to an officer, and said she carries them in her car for protection, Bailey said.

The woman told officers she drove to her boyfriend’s residence early Thursday “to talk to him about their breakup,” Bailey said. A heated argument ensued, “and she was angry and upset.”

The argument began in the man’s driveway, but the two then got into the woman’s car, Bailey said. As the argument continued, the woman reached into the car’s glove compartment, took out the brass knuckles, put them on and punched her ex-boyfriend, police believe.

The man, who was not identified, didn’t want to press charges, Bailey said. Nonetheless, Stewart was taken to Missouri City Police Headquarters and later transported to Fort Bend County Jail in Richmond.
