Two Sugar Land Boys Beaten And Robbed While Walking Home Tuesday Night

Two 14-year-old Sugar Land boys were beaten and robbed Tuesday night by a group of older teenagers, according to a police report.

The two boys told Sugar Land Police Department officers they were walking home from a friend’s house Tuesday after 10 p.m., heading north on Oak Knoll between Placid Wood and Emerald Forrest when the attack occurred.

“They were approached by a group of six to eight black males, 16-17 years of age,” a police spokesman said.

The group said nothing to the boys, but walked up quickly from Emerald Forrest, knocked the boys to the ground and punched them in the face, the spokesman said.

The suspects then stole a wallet from one of the boys and left, heading north on Oak Knoll.
