Thieves Target Vacant Home -Take Keyboard, Radio

A woman dropping off her granddaughter called police Monday after seeing two men carrying a keyboard and a radio run from a nearby home

The call was made around 3:55 p.m., Sept. 28 in the 1200 block of Twining Oaks Lane. The woman told police she saw two men running from a home near her daughter’s residence, one wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt carrying a keyboard and one carrying a black radio. According to reports, they got into a car with a waiting driver.

When police arrived, they saw the back door had been kicked open – mud from the yard left a shoe print on the door and tracks throughout the house. Police say the house appeared to be vacant, with boxes and miscellaneous items throughout the rooms. Police have been unable to locate the owner or occupant.
