A free, family-friendly music festival is scheduled for this weekend at the Telfair community in Sugar Land. The TelfairLife International Music Festival is set for Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Telfair, located at U.S. 59 and University Boulevard, just south of Hwy. 6. The festival takes place alongside grand opening festivities for the new Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land, with the stage located next to the historic building that is the museum’s new home in Telfair. Local residents are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the free lineup of music, dancing and entertainment.
