A 12-year-old boy was released to his mother by Missouri City police yesterday after his 14-year-old brother was arrested for burglary of a habitation. Houston resident Deondrey Price, 18, was also arrested for burglary of a habitation and evading arrest. The brothers had been reported as runaways earlier that morning.
Around 1:30 p.m. yesterday, Sept. 29, a resident in the 600 block of Foxglove Dr. called police and reported that three men knocked on her door and tried to get in her house. When police arrived they saw three people matching the description given by the caller walking away from another residence on Foxglove.
The officer called to the three to stop, and one of the suspects ran. The officer followed him in his patrol car, and eventually got out of his car and chased him, jumping several residential fences. During the chase, backup officers arrived and discovered that the second home on Foxglove had been burglarized through a window in the back of the house.
The two other suspects also ran, and one dropped a pink backpack that contained a Toshiba laptop computer police say was stolen from the burglarized residence. The suspects also left behind two bicycles police say were stolen from Hunters Glen Elementary.
An officer in the area spotted two of the suspects, who were stopped and identified by the woman who originally called police. Both told police that the first suspect who ran told them to stand in front of the home, but didn’t tell them what he was going to do when he entered the backyard.
All three were eventually taken to the police station, and police found additional stolen property in their possession. Police discovered that the 14-year-old has been reported as a runaway seven times. He was arrested, and his brother was released to their mother.
When the boys’ parents came to the police station, they brought additional stolen property they told police was found in their home.

If you take the toll road, when you runaway, I pay the toll!
No you didn’t hit any nerve, you are just talking out of your rear end again and you got called out on it again, boy.
Oouuee, sounds like I hit a nerve little man. Maybe now is the time for you to runaway….
Never ran away, never broke into houses. Never even been arrested, fool. I bet you feel pretty dumb right about now well even dumber than usual that is). Maybe one day you will learn when to keep your big mouth shut.
Sounds like a “megabite” in the making….
Sounds like a future TDCJ resident to me.
Police discovered that the 14-year-old has been reported as a runaway seven times. This says a great deal about this youth and perhaps his home life.
