An argument between sisters over a phone ended in the arrest of 25-year-old Lorielle Giddens Sunday.
Police were called to a residence in the 2900 block of Cherry Springs Dr. around 5:55 p.m. in reference to an assault. According to reports, Giddens and her sister were arguing over a phone when Giddens pushed the 13-year-old, knocking her to the ground, and attempted to choke her.
Other relatives in the residence heard the commotion and broke up the fight. Police say there were several large, deep and bleeding scratch marks on the victim’s neck. Giddens was arrested for injury to a child, a third degree felony.
