Honestly, I don’t think the street name is that big of an issue. Sure, people may be confused by the name, but in the grand scheme of things, it isn’t going to deter people from driving past it or buying a home.

The bigger issue is why we don’t have a hospital in our fair community. It is not like we are a one-horse town. There are more entities out there than just than Methodist (Sugar Land), St. Luke’s (Sugar Land), Memorial (formerly Missouri City) and Christus… although we are starting to hit the bottom of the barrel. Perhaps it is time to think outside the box – such as contacting Baylor College of Medicine or UT Health Science Center and seeing if they want to build a ‘teaching’ hospital or clinic out in these parts.

I agree. Our City is short sided and lacking in the creativity department. Mikhail Gorbachev once said, “What is the difference between a statesman and a politician? A statesman does what he believes is best for his country, a politician does what best gets him reelected.” The funny thing is that in Missouri City, we have forms of politicians who do what they believe is best for them (not the City) as well as whatever it takes to get reelected.

That’s right, a failed hospital when a city has none since 2006 and the duplicity of cover-up is just a “liberal” conspiracy to sneak healthcare through congress.

Yes fake conservative (charlie). That is hilarious! Good one, now go back to defending the cronies who feed our tax dollars to their machine boys.–Sounds like a washing machine to me. LOL

PS For the rest of you interested on this topic and the cover-up. Do searches on this site, the chronicle and missouricitychatter. Use the search term Christus Hospital. That should produce the appropriate archives for this, as our fake conserative puts it, “conspiracy”.

And why would people who supported bringing this private non-profit hospital to MC be supporting nationalized medicine? YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP! . . . ;-)
