Mediterranean Festival Begins Today

The Sugar Land Mediterranean Festival benefiting the Literary Council of Fort Bend County begins today and runs through the weekend.

 

The event, sponsored by Pepperoni’s and Ray’s Grill, is scheduled for 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Parking is free and admission is $3 with children 12 and under free.

 

The festival includes performances by The Olympian Dancers, Oksana Dance, Del Espadin Flamenco & Spanish Dance Academy, Houston International Folk Dances, Ballet Folklorico “Raices del Peru” Houston, Goodtime Scottish Country Dancers, Sugar Land Dance Center and Connolly Dance Arts.

 

The Sugar Land Fire Department will present an exhibition of lifesaving skills, and there will be children’s rides and Mediterranean food, along with music and exhibits.
