Scanlan Oaks Clothing Drive

Scanlan Oaks Elementary students and parents recently held a clothing drive to benefit the Shared Dreams Facility, a program in FBISD that provides clothing to school-aged children in need. Organized by Amy Ashmore, A VIPS Co-Coordinator, the drive collected 1,473 shirts, 660 pair of pants and 412 pair of shorts in just five days. Jeff Brannan and Cricket donated time and a trailer to take the donations to Shared Dreams. Pictured are Mason Ashmore, William Gillespie, Hayden and Maggie Livingston, Morgan Ashmore, Maggie Darr, Zack and Zane Hayslip.
