Although a couple of Board members challenged Lee directly, his lack of due diligence, fundamental math errors and erroneous assumptions lead us to believe his demographic studies were likely tailored to support a predetermined position of the zoning committee. We are now looking into possible conflicts of interest on the zoning committee with respect to some committee members' recent housing purchases in the zoned areas under study. To silencedoesnogood:

Employees are told "if you don't agree then keep your opinion to yourself." If you are on a committee and your disagree with the pre-determined admin point of view then you are asked to remove yourself from the committee. People are afraid to speak up. As an employee who must remain anonymous I'm asking all you out there in the community to get more information on what's going on and please speak up. There's no reason why the zoning was handled the way it was and the over-crowding on some campuses could be avoided. Question the need for academic academies that will strangle the budget and science building when it wouldn't meet the needs of most students. We don't need to pad an overly ambitious superintendent's resume so he can win some personal award. We need the community to take a stand and raise their concerns to the school board.
