More Graffiti, Different Gang

Crime Reports, News

Missouri City police have reported more gang graffiti near Quail Valley East Drive, but this time say a different gang is represented. The new graffiti, on fences and sidewalks on Valley Forest between Mustang Springs and Quail Valley East, is associated with a Crips gang out of Southwest Houston, according to police.

Earlier this month, red and black graffiti appeared in the 2400 block of Quail Valley east Drive, and contained slogans for the local Mash Mode gang, which is well-known to the Missouri City Police Department. Police said at the time that us wasn’t known if the culprits were actual members of the gang or ‘artists’ imitating gang graffiti.

The Mash Mode gang has been known to the Missouri City Police Department for years, and a special crimes unit monitors their activities, according to police. The gang, which police say mostly operate on the outskirts of Missouri City near Fresno, is comprised of young men usually between 16 and 23 years old.

While the gang is not known for violence, members are suspected of committed car burglaries in Missouri City and usually carry weapons.

Oh, by the way is that the area I asked about?

  3. b_tabor Says:

Just ignore the beast, he talks to everyone that way.

No, that was to our resident troll that posted above you.

  5. slapandtickle Says:

I hope you aren’t addressing that to me. I just asked a question.

  6. MEGABITE Says:

Scud- there’s help out there, seek it.

  7. slapandtickle Says:

Isn’t this in an older area of Missouri City? The part they keep promising to improve on.

Megamouth is playing a shell game, but the slight of hand is obvious and this story has absolutely everything to do with developers, school boards, and HOAs.

Property value is about location, location, location, and developers, developer’s school boards, and HOAs own, create, and recreate “Location.”

  9. sunshine Says:

Why are you being so mean to Patriot Missive?

  10. MEGABITE Says:

This story has absolutely nothing to do with developers or school boards or HOAs. The problem is you have a one track mind.

  11. patriot missive Says:

We are all “getting it wrong” in being “wronged” by developers who manipulate property value through school board control, as well as developer and HOA controlled constable contracts.

  12. FtBendConservative Says:

I find it amazing how some can make a career out of “getting it wrong”.

    The backlash has started.

OR….Quickly, run and buy an new house in our new development, before your old property is worthless due to undesirables moving in and destroying your “property values.” Please also ignore the fact that we developers are destroying your property values with our scare tactics. The last thing we developers want you to do is create an authentic community of thinking and participating neighbors, so quickly, come to our new developments where you can have it all, “ready-made” without overcrowded schools and bad neighbors…..until we want to sell our next development…suckers.

The title of this should’ve been Little Punk Thug Gangsta Wannabes Spray Paint Fences.

    Get a grip!

  16. patriot missive Says:

I wish that I could believe that the constables did not do the graffiti, but the payoff to get people to move to newer developments is just too big. And who reported the graffiti to FBNOW? … The manipulation for new home sales is intense.

Hmm, sounds like they just need the right opportunity to harm someone. Time to take them down.

Now, if you could prove they made the graffiti, couldn’t you sue them and their parents? Nothing like the loss of money to bring attention to the matter.
