Residents and representatives from Fort Bend County, Turner Construction, the Texas Commission of Jail Standards, and more recently celebrated the opening of Fort Bend County Jail’s $66 million renovation and expansion at a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house. Pictured here holding the plaque commemorating its completion is Sheriff Milton Wright, Fort Bend County; Henry Villarreal, operations manager at Turner Construction’s Houston office; and Judge Robert Hebert, Fort Bend County. The project includes 213,000 square feet of new jail space and 40,000 square feet of renovated existing jail space, including an additional 1,008 beds.
