Crime Reports, News

A Dominos Pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint this weekend after returning to the restaurant at 2435 Texas Parkway around 12:50 a.m. Sunday.

As the victim was walking towards the front door, a man walked out from behind a dumpster demanding money and pointing a gun at the employee. The victim gave him his money – $3 – and the suspect walked back behind the dumpster and “disappeared,” according to police reports.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20’s, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 190 lbs. wearing a hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

The suspect description is similar to a description given of a suspect involved in a Nov. 2 armed robbery and kidnapping. Around 9:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, a Missouri City resident pulled into the parking lot of the strip center to wait for his sister-in-law. While he was waiting he got bored, got out of his car and was checking a taillight. According to police, two men came up to him shouting obscenities and forced him into the backseat of his own car at gunpoint.

One of the suspects got in the backseat with the victim while the other drove the car to the intersection of Ruppstock and Pryor in the Briargate area of Houston, about a mile from where the victim lives. The suspects searched the victim for a wallet and property and after finding nothing told him to get out of the car and run.

According to police, the victim “immediately followed their directions,” ran home and called police.

The suspects were described as two clean-shaven black men. The first suspect was described as 6’3” and about 180-190 lbs. wearing dark clothing with a hooded sweater and carrying a large gun. The second suspect is described as 5’10” and 190-200 lbs. also wearing dark clothes with a hooded sweater.

The stolen car, a tan, 2005 Toyota Camry with 17-inch chrome wheels and a chrome exhaust tip and license plate number is NNF-316, has not been recovered. Police say they usually recover stolen vehicles within 78 hours.

Anyone with information about any of the suspects should call their local police department. Anyone who sees the stolen car should also call their local police department and not touch the vehicle.

The easiest thing would be to vote all dems out of office so the economy can come back. Then according to some crime will go away……

271 posts over $3, wow I was missing all the fun. The criminals that are pulling these stunts are stupid. If you are trying to make the argument that the poor economy is causing more crime, you could, but more importantly who cares why they are doing it. Catch them, lock them up and throw away the key. Find their parents and fine the crap out of them for poor breeding.

Why don’t you just admit you over reacted to my #2 post?

  4. MEGABITE Says:

Yeah, that’s a real surprise, they’ve probably never had a job their entire life. Most of them have probably made a
living robbing stealing and selling drugs.

  5. cult_of_one Says:

Here’s a hint. they found a higher rate of unemployment in that target population.

  6. cult_of_one Says:

Well they have done a study on prisoners related to what you are claiming, but I will leave that to you to find since this is your new tactic.

    =-)

  7. cult_of_one Says:

Remember you can’t have your cake and no I won’t give you my position. Yes, I know it is a good one and well supported, but no you can’t have it.

    =-)

Things must be getting desperate as the unemployment rises here locally.

Lowlife criminals are going to rob and steal no matter what the employment rate is.

  9. MEGABITE Says:

Sure, start by proving any of these stories on this site have a direct correlation to the unemployment rate whatsoever.

  10. cult_of_one Says:

Now you’re changing your claim again? Which is it, on topic or off? I said and supported that when unemployment rises so does crime. Trying another tactic now?

  11. MEGABITE Says:

No, absolutely not and leave my family out of this. Internet forum rule #1, newbie.

  12. cult_of_one Says:

You really do need another form of entertainment if this is all you have megabite. Or at least learn how to debate honestly.

  13. MEGABITE Says:

My statement that crime happens even when unemployment is low or virtually non-existent? Do I really need to prove that to you? You don’t believe that?

  14. cult_of_one Says:

Is having a dialogue with someone that impossible for you? Does your father mistreat you?

  15. cult_of_one Says:

Why don’t you do something surprising and back up your statements instead of the regular attacks you seem to so often engage in?

  16. MEGABITE Says:

    aww don’t cry, lil fella.

  17. cult_of_one Says:

And now back to your pattern of name calling.

  18. cult_of_one Says:

I’m sorry you are just ridiculous. That’s all. Is that simple enough?

  19. MEGABITE Says:

No, just quit posting BS and you won’t get called out on it.
It’s really a simple concept, even someone with obvious limited brain functions such as yourself should be able to grasp it.

  20. cult_of_one Says:

I see now the rising crime and unemployment is a “conspiracy”? See my #248 the last sentence. Maybe you can do something with this one too. As Christmas draws near we should also becareful of more crime? Do you have a problem with that one? Are we supposed to get our posts approved by you master before sending them?

  21. MEGABITE Says:

You’re claiming they’re turning to this because of the rise in unemployment which is total and utter BS. You are guessing they are turning to that. How about you quit making lame excuses for lowlife punk thug armed robbers and face the reality they would be out there robbing and stealing from us citizens if the unemployment rate was 0?

  22. cult_of_one Says:

And you point? My simple claim was that with all the crime being reported we needed to beware since unemployment is up. You seem to have personal problems with that claim, which I full supported in the thread.

  23. MEGABITE Says:

I notice you tried the same thing on another thread about a robbery:

Man, I used to shop at that one. Things must be getting desperate out there for so many people to be turning to this.

  24. cult_of_one Says:

See your words in #240, #2 and #3 and then read the studies. Stop “crawfishing” as you like to say. Own up and then just walk away. Obviously you can’t do either. Or refute the claims and support provided unlike you.

  25. MEGABITE Says:

You see what you want to see and nothing else. I’m done wasting my time with you. Jump up on your little soapbox
and scream to the masses how bad FBC’s unemployment is. I really couldn’t care less.
