Gun-Wielding Robber Nets Three Dollars

Crime Reports, News

A Dominos Pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint this weekend after returning to the restaurant at 2435 Texas Parkway around 12:50 a.m. Sunday.

As the victim was walking towards the front door, a man walked out from behind a dumpster demanding money and pointing a gun at the employee. The victim gave him his money – $3 – and the suspect walked back behind the dumpster and “disappeared,” according to police reports.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20’s, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 190 lbs. wearing a hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

The suspect description is similar to a description given of a suspect involved in a Nov. 2 armed robbery and kidnapping. Around 9:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, a Missouri City resident pulled into the parking lot of the strip center to wait for his sister-in-law. While he was waiting he got bored, got out of his car and was checking a taillight. According to police, two men came up to him shouting obscenities and forced him into the backseat of his own car at gunpoint.

One of the suspects got in the backseat with the victim while the other drove the car to the intersection of Ruppstock and Pryor in the Briargate area of Houston, about a mile from where the victim lives. The suspects searched the victim for a wallet and property and after finding nothing told him to get out of the car and run.

According to police, the victim “immediately followed their directions,” ran home and called police.

The suspects were described as two clean-shaven black men. The first suspect was described as 6’3” and about 180-190 lbs. wearing dark clothing with a hooded sweater and carrying a large gun. The second suspect is described as 5’10” and 190-200 lbs. also wearing dark clothes with a hooded sweater.

The stolen car, a tan, 2005 Toyota Camry with 17-inch chrome wheels and a chrome exhaust tip and license plate number is NNF-316, has not been recovered. Police say they usually recover stolen vehicles within 78 hours.

Anyone with information about any of the suspects should call their local police department. Anyone who sees the stolen car should also call their local police department and not touch the vehicle.

Still being dishonest. Oh well. Perhaps you can discuss it with your parents sometime.

  2. MEGABITE Says:

Ahh to be so new to the internet and ignorant.

  3. cult_of_one Says:

It says what it says. Anyone can read it and follow the thread and watch you repeatedly change tactics. It’s simple childish ego is all. Why don’t you save it for another day. You’ve done nothing but continue to argue without merit.

  4. MEGABITE Says:

Show me one thing, anything, in the article above that suggests the punk thugs had recently lost their jobs
and that’s the reason they were robbing people.
    It’s not there.

  5. cult_of_one Says:

The only not supporting anything in here has been you. You are dishonest and worse yet very ignorant of honest debate. I feel sorry for you, I really do. Those are your words above in #240, and now you are going to continue your deceit.

  6. MEGABITE Says:

You can misread it all you want, it still doesn’t make it any less true.

  7. MEGABITE Says:

There you go with the 3rd grade, ‘NU-UH! YOU’RE crawfishing!’

  8. MEGABITE Says:

Of course it’s not all crimes. Do you know how many crimes there are to begin with? Let’s get real and quit being so vague.

  9. cult_of_one Says:

Now you are going to deny this statement? It’s at the top of this thread megabite.

Things must be getting desperate as the unemployment rises here locally.

Lowlife criminals are going to rob and steal no matter what the employment rate is.

  10. MEGABITE Says:

My statement is 100% accurate. Yours, opinion, since you haven’t been able to prove it.

  11. cult_of_one Says:

See your direct quote from above and those that follow. Now it’s “some crimes” but not all? That isn’t what you’ve been saying throughout this thread. What do you call it “crawfishing” I believe.

  12. MEGABITE Says:

I never claimed that. You are misreading it to suit your agenda.

  13. cult_of_one Says:

You are correct about it turning into a 3rd grade argument though. That’s why I kept asking you what your age was when you started claiming rising unemployment wasn’t related to area crime increases.

  14. MEGABITE Says:

    You just don’t get it.

  15. MEGABITE Says:

What crime? Spitting on the sidewalk? Of course there is a relation to SOME crimes, not all crimes, Mr. Ultra Vague.

Still no proof the perps in this story were recently unemployed and not just career criminals (which would make your argument moot)?

  16. cult_of_one Says:

You made it related by discussing it. You tried later to claim it was off topic because you couldn’t refute or support your claims.

  17. cult_of_one Says:

Still no relationship between local unemployment and rising crime? Not related to this article?

  18. MEGABITE Says:

    Welcome to 3rd grade everybody.

  19. MEGABITE Says:

You just don’t get it and never will.

Wait let me guess, you’re going to say, “No, YOU don’t get it and never will!” haha Oh brother.

  20. Praisetohe Says:

OMG… I pray for both of you. God, please bless my peers, who know not what they fight about. Take them into your light and show them how to log off. In Jesus’ name, AMEN

  21. cult_of_one Says:

More name calling? Back to your normal pattern I see. You haven’t refuted anything from the original thread and still can’t. You are the only one “crowing” as you say.

  22. MEGABITE Says:

Posting offtopic shuts down threads. Do you know anything about that? yes, you do. From the get go.

  23. MEGABITE Says:

    haha “Introduced”? HA

You mean you jumped up on your little soapbox and crowed more like?

  24. cult_of_one Says:

You haven’t done anything but try to shut down the thread. Anyone can see that and it is consistent with your behavior on this board.

  25. MEGABITE Says:

So you are claiming they are?

Is that why you posted “Things must be getting desperate as the unemployment rises here locally.” We shouldn’t have assumed that was a statement relating to this instance…i.e. topic?

  26. cult_of_one Says:

Do you need a reminder where this began? You didn’t say it was off topic until later. A discussion about area crime and unemployment was introduced and you participated. Don’t be a hypocrite now.

Lowlife criminals are going to rob and steal no matter what the employment rate is.

  27. MEGABITE Says:

I didn’t claim they were unrelated, I questioned how it relates to this particular event. It doesn’t.

I can’t stop you from posting your off topic rants but i can expose you for everyone to see. 8^)

  28. cult_of_one Says:

No more than you know if they were recently employed and then lost their job. Another attempt?

  29. cult_of_one Says:

That doesn’t make the comment unrelated to the thread. Nor does it support your response claiming that unemployment and crime aren’t related. You can’t stop people from sharing on these threads megabite or sharing their opinions.

  30. MEGABITE Says:

Perhaps we should first define the word crime and go from there. Nevermind the topic at hand, who cares?

  31. Praisetohe Says:

Can we agree to disagree and move on? Do either of YOU have jobs? It seems you spend hours of what should be a work day fighting with total strangers over something neither of you can prove. Just a thought…. God bless.

  32. MEGABITE Says:

Because for the 100th time, you don’t know if any of these instances were committed by someone recently out of work, that’s why.

Now let’s talk about skating on sidewalks, that’s a crime as well.

  33. cult_of_one Says:

Another change of tactic? What number is that now?

  34. MEGABITE Says:

I want to talk about whatever pops into my mind at the time. Forget staying on topic. The topic is crime, right?

  35. cult_of_one Says:

Why wouldn’t increasing crime and unemployment be on topic in here?

  36. MEGABITE Says:

No, I want to talk about all aspects of crime, nevermind the story above.

  37. cult_of_one Says:

See #210 and the prior related posts. Stop the red herring. You can’t have your cake too. It’s simple.

  38. cult_of_one Says:

Why is it you continue to take this away from my questions? Why don’t you answer? I know why. You can’t.

  39. MEGABITE Says:

No, I want to discuss counterfeiting. It’s a crime as well.
You don’t stay on topic, so why should I?

  40. cult_of_one Says:

Busted? Nope, just calling you on yours tactics.

  41. cult_of_one Says:

Still red herrings megabite. Nothing substantive yet. Go back and answer the questions I offered earlier and stop the games.

    You said this

    MEGABITE says:

Lowlife criminals are going to rob and steal no matter what the employment rate is.

and then attempted to back out of it later. When you could not you claimed we were off topic. Sorry you can’t have your cake too.

  42. MEGABITE Says:

How about road rage? Crime. Anything’s game on this thread, right? It all relates to crime.

  43. MEGABITE Says:

This story is about crime, so let’s discuss not paying child support. That’s a crime as well.

  44. cult_of_one Says:

Well now you are engaging in red herrings. Another tactic and quite dishonest.

  45. MEGABITE Says:

    It’s all ‘crime’, why not?

  46. MEGABITE Says:

Ever notice there’s always a cop car in front of Kohl’s on Highway 6? Must be alot of shoplifting going on there (crime).

  47. cult_of_one Says:

I see now you want to talk about Bolivia? Not Houston area crime and rising unemployment?

  48. MEGABITE Says:

Then, let’s discuss animal poaching. It’s all about crime.

  49. MEGABITE Says:

Let’s discuss the crime rate of Bolivia. Crime is the topic here, right?

  50. MEGABITE Says:

Let’s discuss the crime rake of Bolivia. Crime is the topic here, right?
