A Houston Chronicle employee reported a theft yesterday to Missouri City police from a building the newspaper uses to fold and distribute papers.
Police were called to the building in the 2500 block of Cartwright Rd. around 6:38 a.m. The employee told police that he left around 4:30 a.m. and when he got back a new air compressor was missing. According to reports, another delivery driver left the door to the building unlocked.
The employee was unable to provide the make, model or serial number of the air compressor, which was uninsured.

Why wouldn’t the lease on the building include adequate insurance?
