Tobacco Free Fort Bend Coalition is hosting a reception to honor the middle school student winners of its annual Great American Smoke Out – Graphic Arts Contest from 2-3 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Houston Museum of Natural Science – Sugar Land, 13016 University Blvd.
Missouri City City Councilwoman Cynthia Gary will help recognize First Colony, Lake Olympia and Baines Middle School student achievements and speak on the importance of educating residents on the harmful effects of second hand smoke. Winning entries will be on display during the reception and will be reproduced as a coloring book for students across Fort Bend County.
The Tobacco Free Fort Bend Coalition is comprised of community members who are committed to increasing public health through the promotion of smoke free environments and the reduction of tobacco use.

Let’s have them paint a poster depicting the erosion of business owners’ rights and hand out awards for the best.

It’s impossible to prove any harmful effects of secondhand smoke. It’s guesswork. A farce. An assumption. They are grooming more future anti smoking in public dogooders.
