All 10 High School Choruses To Perform Together Dec. 1

Students from the Fort Bend Independent School District’s 10 high school choral groups will join their voices into one grand chorus for a presentation of selections from George Frederick Handel’s “The Messiah” at Rodgers Auditorium at 7 p.m. Dec. 1, under the direction of Guest Conductor James Roberts, choir director of “The Singing Churchmen” at Sugar Land Christ United Methodist Church. 

 

Soloists for the performance will be FBISD Choral students who auditioned for the parts.  The Clements High School Orchestra, directed by Ginger Wolfe, will accompany the combined chorus. 

 

Members of the Kempner High School Hand Bell Choir, under the direction of Pam Hall, Director of Choral Studies, will perform prior to the concert. Admission is free and the public is invited.
