Thieves stocked up on construction materials after making the rounds in Telfair early this week.
Sugar Land police reported four thefts from homes under construction on Nov. 9 and Nov. 10. Two thefts were reported from the 600 block of Plumbridge, one in the 700 block of Moss Hammock Way and one in the 1200 block of Amherst Avenue.
Items stolen include sheets of cabinet plywood, tile flooring, bags of mortar and plumbing fixtures.
Construction site thefts are not unusual, according to police department spokesman Doug Adolph, and the department has “focused resources” on the issue. The amount of traffic on a building site makes it difficult to locate suspects, and materials are often unattended.

So you would have someone go without construction supplies just because they either can’t afford them or simply don’t want to pay for them?!?
How un-patriotic of you.
Oh of course!
Of course the people that stealt this stuff are only here to work hard and raise their families. right?
I wonder how many homes in the county are built with this type of stolen materials?
