Less than two weeks after Clements High School students were sent home with a letter informing them that Principal Kevin Moran was on a “leave of absence,” sources say as of Thursday Moran is gone permanently.
Barbara James has been serving as principal since Moran’s departure in October. James is a retired Fort Bend Independent School District principal.
Rumors began circulating mid-October than Moran was no longer with the school, and although district officials on Oct. 28 confirmed that he was still serving as principal, they notified parents of his leave Oct. 30.

Of course, not surprisingly, there are those whose postings self identify to thus exemplify the exact metaphor, comparatively and metaphorically speaking that is not helpful with the political and social complexity of the issues that we face.

so all the students sitting in FBISD seats aren’t learning because they aren’t being paid?
and this what to do with a principal resigning?
did I mention obtuse?

“You cannot teach someone something that they are paid to not understand.”

Interesting. I have heard it said that if all you have is a hammer, then everything will look like a nail. In thisway, Dukes of Hazard is a metaphorical hammer that is really not helpful with the political and social complexity of the issues that we face. Try to expand your understanding.

It all sounds too much like the dukes of hazzard to me. Who’s boss hog in this one?

Sorry to have missed the posts on this, but we just got back from church. I’m going to stay out of this one. I am upset though about the way the entire Moran situation was handled by the district. It just doesn’t seem right.

He PM! Welcome back.

1. rangers 1910; Why Mr. Morgan left or gone? Clements student overcrowding, could have led Mr. Morgan to leave, an parents ant FBISD fail to provide relief.

Thank you factually for the psalm. I’m sure Moran appreciates it. I would also thank anthony for the clarification and now can understand how you think this all ties in together. Have a warm and wonderful Saturday all!

Good principal, really sorry to see Mr. Moran go. According to my daughter, the interim principal is an idiot, teachers think so too.

I must say factually, that was a very nice sentiment and very appropriate. Santhony, the link above is very interesting, but not really related to this story. Where is that neighborhood exactly anyway?

When one door closes, God opens another one.
Divine providence intervenes when we least expect in guidance to a better place that was never sought due to falling for the hype in thinking that FBISD is “all that”.
God bless your soul Principal Kevin Moran. An improved future awaits your leadership!
FBISD just paid you the highest complement of regard by freeing you to go elsewhere to soar like an eagle. God turns around what is meant for defeat by allowing those who believe in him to capture victory in the face of thy enemy; for if God is for you, no man can be against you. Those who come to seek and destroy, quickly forget that our earthy existence is only temporary and they too shall meet their maker one day.
Oh, my, surprise, surprise, when they have to give an accounting of wanton, evil deeds committed against their fellow man.
The End.

This was sad news to read today. I wish him the best!

not everyone is cut out to be a educrat. Don’t you have to take about 10 years of political correctness to be an administrator?

Political fall man… no wonder real teachers were afraid to speak out against the Global Science Center. I’ll have to throw down the BS flag on Jenney for both.

Scape-goat for the central office?

Though this will not happen- I would really like to know for sure why and if Moran left? I heard from most CHS parents that he was a good solid principal.
