Every year, teachers spend an average $1,000 of their own money on classroom supplies. That’s why OfficeMax joined Adopt-a-Classroom to create “A Day Made Better,” a one-day event that rewards more than 1,100 teachers with more than $1,000 in school supplies.
August has often purchased books and other supplies to help promote the Reading Recovery program at her campus. As recipient of “A Day Made Better,” she received an OfficeMax leather chair, a Sony Cyber-Shot digital camera, an Epson Stylus All-in-One Printer and numerous instructional materials.

It’s nice to see Marla getting recognized for her hard work!
