Sugar Land residents standing in a driveway were the victims of a robbery by knifepoint, according to police reports.
Sugar Land police responded to a robbery in progress in the 2000 block of Cromwell around 1:52 a.m. Nov. 15. On their way to the address, police were flagged down by two victims of the robbery at the intersection of West Airport and Lake Woodbridge.
The victims told police that as they were standing in a driveway, four men approached them, pushing the two victims into a car. The suspects threatened the victims with a knife, stole their property and one of the victims was punched in the head.
As police were talking to the victims, the suspect car was seen in the area. Police stopped the car at Addicks Clodine and three men got out and ran, according to police. Sugar Land officers and Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office deputies searched the area but didn’t find the suspects.
The suspects are described as black men in their early 20’s, 5 ft. 10 inches tall to 6 ft. tall with slim builds. One of the suspects was wearing a short-sleeved black T-shirt with red shorts, another was wearing a black shirt with a baseball cap and a third man was wearing a white T-shirt.

Sugar Land Residents standing in there driveway. They have every right to feel and be safe but…. this wasn’t one group of youths fighting another group of youths was it? They found the car, who owns it? There should be a follow up. Lets wait and see.
