A car accident led to the arrest Monday of a 28-year-old Rosenberg man on drug charges.

Around 5:30 a.m. Rosenberg police officers began investigating a collision in the parking lot of 1217 Westwood where a vehicle driven by Gilbert Singletary hit a parked car, causing minor damage. According to reports, officers found Singletary inside the vehicle in a “disoriented state.”
Police say Officer Justin Pannell found in the car an unmarked prescription bottle containing 3.4 grams of crack cocaine. Singletary was arrested and take to the Rosenberg City Jail and was later transferred to the Fort Bend County Jail.
Driving around on crack?? He’s lucky he didn’t kill somebody!
