I think more needs to be reported on this regarding the alleged assailant, who he is, is he a ongoing problem for the school. Is this the first incident? What I am geting at is…schools are having to deal with problems that they can’t get rid of until an act like this one takes place. I am just curious to see if there is a gang affiliation that could have been involved?

I think you will find some of these smaller school districts tend to be more responsive to the publics they serve than the larger ones. Too often the larger ones are caught up in the politics of pushing the big bonds through so they can satisfy a certain element in our midst, rather than keeping the focus on educating the children.

I like how Chambers handled this. Rather than denial and blaming, he confronted it and was open and honest about it. It is my hope the student recovers.
