MoCity Woman Tied Up As Armed Men Ransack Her Home

A Missouri City woman walked into her home around 8 p.m. Friday night and was confronted by three armed men demanding money and jewelry, according to police.

The resident unlocked the front door of her home in the 1600 block of Thornbrook Dr. on Dec. 11 and discovered inside three black men wearing jeans, hoodies and something over their faces that she could not identify. They all had guns, and shoved her around the house demanding she take them to money and jewelry.

Eventually the suspects tied the victim’s hands behind her back, leaving her kneeling on the floor as they ransacked the house, knocking over furniture. They then put her in a closet and told her to stay there until after they left. The victim waited a long while, then ran to a neighbor’s house to call police.

Police say there are no suspects, but the investigation is ongoing. The woman was not injured.

Or live in abject poverty… if you don’t have anything to steal, chances are no one is going to break in.

That’s the reason why I drive an old rusted out pinto – not because I can’t afford a better car, oh no! It’s to fend off the looters… yeah, that the ticket.

nothing you can do but set the alarm when you leave and don’t enter if it is going off when you return.
