Sara Rosas Boone has been appointed temporarily as Justice of the Peace, Precinct One Place Two through Feb. 28, 2010, at the request of Judge Gary Geick, and was sworn in this week by County Judge Robert E. Hebert.

Geick notified Hebert by letter earlier this week of his request to appoint Boone on a temporary basis due to his illness. Boone has been employed with Geick’s Office for 15 years and has served as his Court Coordinator for the last eight years.
“I’m confident that Sara will do an excellent job in the interim and I join everyone in the county wishing Judge Geick a full and speedy recovery,” said Hebert.
