Ridgemont Elementary Student Wins Region 4’s 2009 Holiday Card Design Contest

Jacqueline Calzada, a sixth-grade student at Ridgemont Elementary School, was named winner of Region 4’s 2009 Holiday Card Design Contest. More than 1,000 students representing 70 campuses in 29 school districts entered the contest.

Twenty finalists were chosen and Calzada’s design was selected to appear on the front of the Region 4 2009 Holiday Card. As the winner, she received a certificate and a plaque featuring her card design. Her art teacher is Wanda Anderson.
